PPCC’s new office bearer begins innings against Punjab with visit to Golden Temple


Devendra Yadav embarked on a new political career as the office-bearer of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) amidst a tussle between party president Navjot Singh Sidhu and opposition leader Partap. – Prayed respect to Tirat temple. Singh Bajwa spoke about the rallies organized by the former in the state.

Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Waring and Sidhu remained by Yadav’s side at the Golden Temple.

However, Sidhu left the shrine complex a few minutes earlier than the others. “I have no faction. My only faction is the three billion Punjabis living here and the two billion overseas. I don’t care who opposes me. I will never stop anyone from going anywhere.”

Asked about his opposition to the rally, Bajwa said, “Whoever organizes a 10,000-person rally, I will praise him. But this is in favor of Punjab and its welfare. I will cooperate fully with Mr. Yadav Sahib. I will continue my work even if I suffer losses.”

Commenting on Sidhu’s remarks, Walling said, “There is no collectivism in the party. Differences of opinion can arise within families.As the Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, I am supposed to take everyone with me.” We need teamwork to strengthen the party.”

Addressing the rally, Sidhu said, “All leaders, regardless of rank, have the right to hold rallies anywhere, but all must maintain party discipline.” Those who cannot abide by this, regardless of class, must face the music. Discipline is important. ”

While interacting with the media, Yadav said: I’ll take a look at what’s going on here and comment accordingly. ”

Regarding the alliance with India, he said, “Meetings will be held with national party leaders.” Any decision in this regard will be taken according to their feelings. ”

Walling termed the separate FIR against Bolas MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira as a “mockery of democracy and judiciary”.

Bajwa held another meeting with Yadav in Amritsar.
