The Bahujan Samaj Party on Thursday announced two more candidates, Vishal Sidhu from Amritsar and Satnam Singh Toor from Khadoor Sahib.

State President Jasbir S. Garhi provided details about the two candidates, saying that both are young candidates of Majbi Sikh background.

Mr. Tour, a 29-year-old B.Tech graduate, is the youngest candidate announced by any political party. For the past two years, he has served as Tarun’s party’s halka chief.

“Sidhu joined the party in 2020 and was a lawmaker from Jandiala. He ran the NGO Mission Constitution, which distributed free uniforms, shoes and books to poor students.” he said.

After today’s list, the party has announced 12 candidates for 13 seats in Punjab, with the only remaining candidate being Anandpur Sahib, where the party’s state president Jasbir S. Garhi is the leading candidate. Only Mr. Garhi, however, maintained that all decisions regarding the announcement of candidates were taken by party supremo Mayawati and Punjab in-charge Randhir S. Beniwal.
