Punjab | BSF recovers broken drone from harvest field in Amritsar

Amritsar, May 6: BSF on Sunday recovered a drone in a broken condition from a harvest field adjacent to Ratan Khurd village in Amritsar district, officials said.
“On May 5, the BSF intelligence wing shared information about the presence of drones in the harvested wheat fields in the border areas of Amritsar district. Immediate response was taken and a massive search operation was carried out in the suspected areas. ” BSF said in a press release.
The BSF further said that the military recovered one drone in a broken condition at the harvest site.
BSF further said, “During the search, at around 4:50 pm on the same day, the military found one drone in a broken condition in a harvest field adjacent to Ratan Khurd village in Amritsar district.”
The recovered drone was identified as a Chinese-made DJI Mavic 3 Classic.
“Reliable inputs and loyal BSF forces have once again successfully recovered a drone sent by its handler across the border,” the BSF said in a statement. (agency)
