Passengers face inconvenience as Air India Express flight to Dubai is canceled

Passengers had to face inconvenience today as Air India Express canceled its Dubai-Amritsar flight for the second consecutive day.

However, airline staff insisted they were informing passengers about the cancellation and offering ticket refunds and assistance with rescheduling. Flight IX 191 from Amritsar to Dubai and Flight IX 192 from Dubai to Amritsar were canceled on Wednesday, but some passengers did not learn of the cancellation until they arrived at Shri Guru Ram Das Ji International Airport. The flight to Dubai is scheduled to depart at 4:25 p.m. Several passengers who had not been informed of the flight cancellation arrived at the airport around 11 a.m. and later received information about the flight cancellation. Airlines staff apologized for the inconvenience and promised to change or refund tickets, but passengers had to wait a long time. It is worth noting here that Air India Express crew members have taken collective medical leave to protest the dismissal of their employees. Airport staff claimed that the airline was addressing passenger issues and that several other flights to international and domestic destinations were operating without disruption.
