Arvind Kejriwal holds roadshow with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann in Amritsar

Ahead of voting in the fifth phase of Lok Sabha polls, AAP national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a roadshow in Amritsar in Punjab along with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann.

Both AAP leaders were welcomed by thousands of supporters carrying party flags.

Early today, Arvind Kejriwal and Mann reached the Golden Temple in Amritsar to pay their respects. The AAP supremo was accompanied by Mann and the party’s Amritsar candidate Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal.

Voting for all 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab is scheduled to be held on June 1.

On May 10, the Supreme Court granted Kejriwal interim bail until June 1, the last day of the seven-term assembly election, and directed him to surrender and return to jail on June 2. The Delhi Chief Minister was arrested on March 21st. .

Interacting with party supporters, Kejriwal said if people press the ‘jaadu’ button (AAP’s symbol), he will not go to jail.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann also attended the roadshow and appealed to voters to remain united and asserted that his party will win all 13 seats in Punjab.
