Focusing on Punjab, Arvind Kejriwal holds roadshow and visits Golden Temple

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday announced that Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal will pay homage at the revered Durjiana Mandir in Amritsar.

In his first joint election campaign with the Congress, Kejriwal on Wednesday held two roadshows for Congress candidates in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri and Model Town. The Delhi Assembly has announced that it will continue to hold roadshows in support of Congress candidates Jai Prakash Agarwal from Chandni Chowk, Udit Raj from northwest Delhi and Kanhaiya Kumar from northeast Delhi.

While the Congress and AAP have a 3-4 seat-sharing agreement in Delhi, they have “mutually agreed” to contest elections separately in Punjab.
