‘Every AAP worker is Kejriwal’ Delhi CM tells party workers in Amritsar » Yes Punjab

Amritsar, May 17, 2024
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday told party workers that all AAP workers are “Kejriwal” and that is why the BJP could not “dissolve” the party. He said that.

Mr. Kejriwal told the workers that he had no special plans for coming to Punjab this time. “This will also send a message to them (Bharatiya Party) that arresting one Kejriwal will not work. Every worker of Aam Aadmi Party is a Kejriwal. Here every worker is a Kejriwal. We will stand up and take responsibility and will not let Punjab and the country down under any circumstances.”

Kejriwal launched an attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party, saying that the party believes that “if they arrest me, they can destroy and end the Aam Aadmi Party.” But my arrest will not have any impact on the party as Aam Aadmi Party is a family and we all come together when there is a problem in the family. We all came together, and so did you. ”

“I came here to meet the people of Punjab and my workers. I missed everyone very much when I was in prison. Every time I met Bhagwant Mann in prison, I I was always asking about you.”

He said prison authorities deliberately did not allow him and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to meet in a room, but the prison manual says that as chief ministers they are not allowed to meet in a single room. He said he was allowed to do so.

“This is all written in the prison manual, this is the regulation. From here, the Punjab Police and the Chief Minister’s Office had written that the Punjab CM would come to meet the Delhi CM, but they did not arrange to meet me in the room.

I was standing on one side of the prison bars and Bhagwant Mann was standing on the other side talking. They thought they would insult Kejriwal by doing something like this, but Kejriwal was not insulted by such a small thing. As long as Bharat Mata’s head is high, so is Kejriwal’s head. ”

He said two surveillance cameras were installed outside his barracks in the prison to keep an eye on him.

“13 prison officers were monitoring me 24 hours a day and camera footage was also shared with the PMO. These people were keeping an eye on my every activity but they found nothing. . I had nothing to hide. Even in prison, I worked and read.”

Mr. Kejriwal appealed to AAP workers that there were still 10-12 days left in the campaign.

“Let’s work hard in the next 10-12 days to help the party win all the 13 seats in Punjab. I will be in jail on June 4, the day the election results are announced, but I will be watching the election results on TV. I’m sure you won’t let me down,” he added.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also praised AAP workers, saying, “Thanks to your hard work, Aam Aadmi Party is in first place in the election campaign across the country.” (Government agency)
